THE TEONMOONS

Did you ever feel like your dreams were too big?  In a world orbiting a different sun than our own, that’s what teenager Zaraineum believed. She wants to build technology to change lives, but that’s not how things worked in her Community. On her moon, NewLands, Communities were founded on the premise of equality... even at the expense of innovation. Stifled, she grew up imagining how life differed on the other TeonMoons and never shook the feeling that pursuing her destiny would break all expectations along the way.

Uniqueness is reinforced with a strange twist to the traditional coming-of-age ceremony, where one is paired with their animal life partner. The creature accompanies her to the next phase of her life, attending Li University – an interlunar education program, whose mission is to improve the TeonMoons. Here, she endures challenges that expand her worldview and technical skills, but culminate in a serious personal reckoning. Zaraineum was never one to accept the status-quo and her actions will surely reflect her unwavering commitment to the betterment of others, even when that comes at the expense of challenging a dangerous secret of the TeonMoons.
